Mountain TV and Bethel Global Media Contents reached a memorandum of understanding with Spain’s Zanskar productions for the international co-production of ‘Strangers in the Wild’. A showcase took place on the 11th of July in London to finalize the MOU.
Hosted by the Korean Ministry of Science, ICT, and Future Planning (MSIP), and the Korea Communications Agency (KCA), the ‘Korea-UK Broadcast Contents Showcase’ marked the first co-production MOU between Korea and Spain.
'Strangers in the Wild' is an adventure series that brings together “two men from opposite sides of the globe”. Hailing from two completely different cultures, two hosts face the daunting task of climbing some of the world’s most dizzying peaks.
This program has received accolades for its unique blend of the Asian and European cultures. Two male hosts come from different cultural backgrounds while sharing the same passion for life. The destinations and challenges they face are extreme while their stories are relatable.
The Korea-UK Broadcast Contents Showcase was a success with a total of 70 participants
including the Korea Broadcasting System (KBS), Jeonju Broadcasting, Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation, Voda Film from Korea, and ITV, All3Media, Lion TV, S4C, OSF, Zanskar Productions from Europe.
